Petra, Molyvos, Vatera, Eresos, are among the most emblematic towns of the new municipality that receive the largest volume of tourists in the summer season. There are also very active women&#8217;s cooperatives in the area, such as those of Mesotopos and Parakila, which produce traditional dishes that are sold on the Greek market.
